Business Leadership Networks in Missouri
In 1994, the President´s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities created the Business Leadership Network as a means to engage employers in a focused effort to market the benefits of hiring qualified individuals with disabilities. The Business Leadership Networks are business driven initiatives to promote inclusiveness of people with disabilities in the workforce.
The Governor´s Council on Disability initiated the Missouri (St. Louis region) Business Leadership Network (MOBLN) in 1998 and has partnered with Kansas to establish the Greater Kansas City Business Leadership Network (GKCBLN).
